Hypoxia – High Altitude Training

High Altitude

The effects of hypoxia (low blood oxygen) are insidious and are different for each person. Hypoxia training allows you to recognize the onset of the symptoms and to also experience the effect it has on your motor and cognitive abilities.

Our hypoxia training is unique in that it is safer than hypobaric chambers that can cause barotrauma due to sudden pressure changes. We use a “Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device” or “ROBD” in conjunction with our simulator so you can “fly” while hypoxic. Per FAA regulations, this training qualifies you for a “high altitude endorsement” so if you are a pilot, bring your logbook!
